Aloha Friday - Comfort Zone

Last night I took a break from the breakneck pace of getting prepped for my show and I went to see Amon Amarth live in concert. Just incase you're not familiar with them... HAHA... they're a viking death metal band.....

In my early twenties I was a NYC music junkie, needing my next concert like a heroine addict needs their next fix. Indie Rock, Heavy Metal and hard core Rock and Roll were life blood. Then I grew up, got serious about my art etc. etc.

I was actually terrified about this concert, ducking into a bodega to buy ear plugs on my way there. Turns out once a metal head, always a metal head. It was pure bliss. I still have a Metal (head)ache from head banging, but other than that I'm only better for the ware.

OK. SOooooooooooooooooooooooo
#1 - What's something you used to love that you haven't done in ages,
and would like to start doing again?

After a night dodging crowd surfers and screaming my lungs out it was so nice to climb the stairs to my little apartment and snuggle into my big ol' bed with my wait for it... SNUGGIE.

#2 - What's something that you have in your 'safe place' that you totally love?

If the experience at the concert would have been scary or horrible, there would have been a clear remedy -- Strictly Ballroom. If I were a doctor I'd have a prescription pad that gave people movie rentals.

#3 - What thing can you do or watch that makes you feel better no matter what?

I didn't get this in on time but wanted to share anyways. One video/song that always makes me feel better (as of late) is "King of Anything" Sara Bareilles.
