WOYWW - V.Day Mode

I promised myself that if it had to do with Valentine's day and it wasn't up by midnight on well... today that it wasn't going to go up this year.
LIES.

I promise if it's not up by Thursday and it involves hearts it's not going up! In the meantime. I'm finishing off a project I started toying with in my sketchbook one fine day.

Once upon a time I knew a boy who carved my name in a tree. While Amber INK. is my current meaningful relationship...

I think every girl should have that in her life at least once (even though we're about as green as they come. and love trees more than we love most people.)

Instead of breaking out a knife and taking it to the oak lined streets of Brooklyn, I have been designing this new set.

It's going to be called "Carved with Care' and it's the feather in our cap this Valentine's season.

Here's what I'm doing now:

That is my open terrarium, a most brilliant birthday gift. It seems sent to remind me of the Godly smell of earth even while the sky empties a seemingly endless supply of frozen water on my beloved Brooklyn. It's just what I need to fuel the inspiration for this set. Tonight I am designing one of the sets of alphabet letters that will go with this set. Is there anything I'm missing?

These letters can be digi-ed into the carved heart that comes with this set. I'm SO excited to finish it up and want it up and at em' by Thursday morning.

I am thrilled to have what seems like a truly popular set! We launched 'More 2 Love - Girls Night IN' this afternoon and the orders are coming on in all rapid fire! WOoOt!!! Let's hear it for the year of the rabbit!

Run by our gal' Julia's to show off your desk or woodland love or what you're wearing on your heart come the 14th ;)
x and o and more x

You gals have it about as bad as I, except YOU have had it more times than me. Like you, I've been hit by the storm of the century. Stay safe, warm, and enjoy your cozy desk.

Yes we have a rather large supply of frozen water in Michigan too, but I have house plants, quite a lot, love the smell of the soil when you water them but never really considered that I love that smell before!! Thanks for that!

Great project on your desk today - clever you! The little terrarium is neat - when I was teaching my 6 year olds used to make little bottle gardens in a plastic sweetie jar - they learned about the water cycle this way!!

Those designs look really good. Sadly, if we created a terrarium with our soil at the moment, it would have the consistency of melted chocolate but without the lovely smell. Roll on summer. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment.
