Lately, all I think about is Spring.

We have snow in our forecast tomorrow!!! The torture of it all!  Bahamas was the perfect place to be last week, but I was wishing, and thinking, and hoping and praying that I'd come home to daffodils.

The only thing to do was to make some daisies!

Our New Torchbearers Are Total Babes!

Our girls are running strong! Check out brand new babes! Cheer them on as they run strong!
..................................................................

Our adorable and inspired Amy Everson is running strong with her flaming blue torch. It's a perfect match for this West Virginia stamper, who is extra bright and rarely blue.
We're excited to have such a reliable torchbearer running in our midst, you can set your watch by Amy, who sneezes uncontrollably every day from 3:45 to 4:00pm. Her coworkers call her sneeze attacks the "closing bell"!

Amy's introduction to card making came in 2009 when she set out to make her own wedding invitations! She's still in honeymoon mode with her knight in shining armor, Tim. Her hubby is her favorite chef (just as long as he's not cooking something gross like tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, water chestnuts, and anything with a pudding/yogurt texture) Our girl's discerning. ;) You can see that careful eye in cards!

Amy can't wait to get a puppy. In the meantime she's taken up residence with a 6.5 foot bear, Bruce. Don't worry, he's stuffed! Is it any wonder that Amy shares her favorite things at Bearpaw Studios every month?

If you're looking great tips for the young at heart with a pension for true fun you're going to find them at http://www.tandames.blogspot.com/
.................................................................
Our flaming pink torch is being carried high and proud by the simply enchanting, Mandi Moore.

Mandi is simply hillarious, simply talented, simply a vision of motivating force ;) Mandi likes things clean and well... simple. The tea mugs in her Isle of Wight home all face the same direction and her favorite foods, chips (fries to us Americans) and chocolate are appreciated one at a time but never together. Growing up Mandi dreamed of being a maid! Can we say that she was destined to be a queen of clean?

As one of the two driving forces behind the simply brilliant, brand new, A-listed, top-rated, incredible 'Less is More' challenge blog, Mandi (with friend Chrissie) has her finger on the pulse of what is simply classy. She's inciteing a movement!

We are so excited to have this classy girl carrying that bright pink flame! Take a stroll by Mandi's sparkling blog, where she works her magic, runs her stationary and wedding card business, and inspires us by living what she preaches. You're sure to be enchanted! http://enchantedoccasions.blogspot.com/
.................................................................
That orange burst of light you see blazing across the sky hails from Enon, Ohio - also home to our newest orange torchbearing babe, Anita Madden!

Anita is a loving wife to her best friend, her hubby of 37 years (woot!), and a caring momma to her beautiful grown up daughter who's a loving momma herself. In her sparetime Anita is most happy playing with her charming and handsome five year-old grandson.

Anita has a talent for making people smile. When we asked her what her worst habit was she told us her husband would say it's putting down the toilet seat! Hehehe. We're excited for what is sure to be an extra fun run with this girl! What a (ahem) 'card'!

Her visual tastes run sweet, cute and spicy (just not her tastes in food!). You can see her sunny personality in the brilliance she showcases on her beautiful blog, Just a Pigment of My Imagination.
.................................................................
Jana Weaver is weaving her way 'round the roses, carrying this purple flame proud!

If this SAHM of two, 8.5 DD and 2.5 DS, has a fault, it's over committing herself. With this talent, how can it be helped!? We're so excited we get a piece of her this March.

When Jana's not raising kids, teaching a card class at her LSS, caring for her furbabies, 13 year old ally cat Shadow and a 10 year old lab/border collie mix, Maisy or dreaming of lobster, she's stamping up a rainbow storm of brilliance. Jana's so committed to color she even restacks her kids rainbow Ikea bowls if they've been stacked by a less masterful hand. Red goes next to orange kids!

Currently she's in Copic mode, but she loves watercoloring
too, and her old Prisma pencils are awesome when the fancy strikes. Yessirree, this laid back stamper has a divine color sense. It's apparent in her wildly adorable blog, which often seems like a little pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Jana's creative persuits in stamping never pale, they always sail!
.................................................................
Our brown torchbearer is strong! Tammy Hellstern's got endurance!

Running to us from Turtle Island, WI this amazing stamper's got game. She's a mover and a shaker without a single flaw ;) Her only real defect was the drinking Mt. Dew, but now she drinks Diet Coke instead. Fixed that!

Tammy makes changes. She changes route and she changes something else, for the better. Our gorgeous babe once dreamed of being a cruise director, but she made a change and now she takes the cruises herself, done and done! By day Tammy makes windows but her second job is where she finds her bliss, this girl's a Close To My Heart Consultant!

Tammy loves life and you can see it in her lively blog that reflects her life, her talent and her amazing strength, and we're not talking muscles, but she can flex those too :)

Come scrap with Tammy at http://scrappinwithtammy.blogspot.com/

Don't cry for us...

Argentina
(or anyone else)
The truth is they've never left us
All through our wild days,
our mad existence
They kept their promise
Don't keep your distance

Okay, I tend to get a little dramatic sometimes so I'm told.
Is it any wonder?

I mean look at these girls,
Running around, trying everything new...
Whoops, there I go again...

Have I said too much?
There's nothing more I can think of to say to you.
(other than aren't they freaking A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.?)
But all you have to do is look at me to know
That every word is true.

Come back on Monday to see who is making the catch!

WOYWW

Not sure if this counts for a workdesk exactly.
Amberbop is always in charge of Wednesdays in our neck of the woods,
basically because it is her workdesk that is always interesting.
Mine is usually piled with bills.
(Okay, to be honest, hers is too - we ALL have bills right?)
I heard that she is out of town at the moment.
Haven't heard directly myself, but I did spy on her Facebook.

And don't tell me this isn't her!
Only a mother can identify her child's toes!!!
And then I found this face that goes with them...

Aha....PROOF!
Maybe her desk will be a little more boring next Wednesday.

Freshly Discovered Raw Footage...

We could barely wait to release our Goddesses nudie cuties...

They had been on our minds for a long time...

We knew they would push the envelope...

But somehow we thought their naked candor would be appreciated...

Especially by a few risk takers in the crowd.

Thanks Allison, Jen, Sue and Carole.

Jan Ken Po

For some reason I am having a hard time coming up
with a blog post today.
Not from a lack of material - there is getting to be lots of that!
It's just that my brain is still on weekend mode.
Which brings me to Jan Ken Po aka Rock Paper Scissors.

Amber Ink supplies found HERE and HERE

Which also reminds me to use rock and scissors
while playing children's games
and save the paper for crafting...

Whenever you need a good chuckle for the day
our Torchbearer ALLISON's got you covered.

Sometimes Less is More

Hard to believe that the Less is More Challenge has only been around for a month now.  It strikes a chord with stampers and it shows!  Mandi and Chrissie run a tight ship, so don't try to squeeze in an extra color or embellishment - they want lots of clean white space, and if you don't, like our Scoopy Sue say's..."you may get your legs slapped!".  We are delighted to be the first sponsor for the entire month of March, which will cover weekly challenges starting on Saturdays. The run on a rotation basis from colour, to one layer, to a theme, to a sketch or recipe.  Week one was color, so they chose Pink, black and white.

This was JOEY's entry
Since it has been a full month of the cycle
we're back to color again and the challenge is PASTELS

And this is SUE's entry

We're so chuffed that Joey and Sue used images
from one of our favorite "less is more" mid century modern sets
(from our inspired art director Karin)

and

So remember...Less is More
Unless you're Charlie Sheen
and then...More is More.

Amber might have something to say about that later.
