The Iron Chefs have been chosen!

Our first annual Holiday Blog Hop was a success!  Those seven course meals practically fed an army!  We know this because it was the highest traffic day on the AmberInklings blog yet!  Go Master Chefs!!!
The taster's voted and Mr. Inklinkz counted.

Coming in First Place for her sweet little Santa baby mermaid...

Since Emily's card is SO sweet
(and since she loves Europe, we figured she likes European desserts too)
we have paired her with a recipe book by the master dessert maker,
 award-winning chef Michel Richard :

Coming in SECOND place for her Klassy Krafty Kard:

To compliment Julie's wry wit a cookbook for nuts has been selected.
Renowned cookbook author Susan Herrmann Loomis has traveled extensively to collect recipes that incorporate every kind of nut—from almonds to Brazil nuts, and everything in between.

And our THIRD place winner for her delicious mid century modern look:

For Karin we have selected a wonderful Southern Cookbook
by Christy Jordan
who cooks like everyone is family and because  life is good,
and there is always something to be grateful for.
Christy could take a lesson from Karin with an "i"!

Thank you all for slaving in the kitchen like you did.
but the results were
Indescribably Delicious!

Thank you Harper Collins  for sponsoring our special meal.

To Emily, Julie and Karin...your cookbooks will be snail mailed to you next week.
Also please select one person who commented on your post
to receive a $10 gift certificate to the Amber Ink store.

Let's dress up and celebrate tomorrow for Aloha Friday!
Start picking out those party dresses.
Let's Play!

Yay!!! Now it's official, I am (just a little) nuts! Ha! Fortunately, no nut allergies in my family, so maybe I can make a 7 course meal using nuts!
Congrats to Karin and Emily too! The hop was soooo fun :>)

Whoo hoo Julie! We were hoping there were no allergies to nuts in your family - It would have been just too ironic if there were :-O!! Thanks for running with torches and hoppin in the kitchen. You are really cookin'!

Thanks for the inside HC connections Amber and SO happy that everyone had fun (we sure did)!

Now was it that instigator TAYLOR who suggested we do it again for Valentines Day? Should we? Is that enough recovery time?
